		62 Families and Homes Hamid Hashim Salman is a supervisor in the South Rumeila gas field, and has worked there 26 years. Five years ago he fell on a valve while running to deal with an emergency in the rain. His right eye was lacerated, and he lost his sight in it. The injury can’t be healed by the Iraqi medical system in its current state of disarray.
