A community of a few hundred migrant indigenous Mixtec farm workers from Oaxaca live in Taft, which was an oil boom town years ago at the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley. Almost everyone icomes from the town of San Pablo Tijaltepec. Pictured: Maria Morales, coming home from work.
