29 Separating Watermelon Flowers
Juan Martinez, a Triqui immigrant from Putla, Oaxaca, works in a crew of indigenous migrants from Oaxaca and Guerrero separating male and female flowers on watermelon plants, to ensure the plants produce seeds. They work for labor contractor Nasario Dominguez.
