Mixtec Migrants in Fresno Celebrate San Miguel 21 Mañanitas Just after dawn, in a garage in Fresno, indigenous Mixtec immigrants from the Oaxacan town of San Miguel Cuevas celebrate the saint's day for their town. A traditional band from their hometown, Hoz y Cuevas, arrives to perform the Mañanitas, in front of the altar with the saint, candles and paper flowers.
