41 Marching on Sacramento Sacramento Thousands of farmworkers and their supporters converge on the state capitol in Sacramento at the end of the United Farm Workers' month-long march from Delano, demanding the enforcement of the laws protecting workers' organizing rights, and an end to immigrant-bashing. The march was the seminal event in the resurgence of the UFW, which has organized thousands of new members in the years which have followed. |
