Students fgoing home pack into the AC Transit bus leaving the Oakland Military Institute, a military charter school started by Mayor Jerry Brown, located in the former Oakland Army Base. Although there are far more students than the bus can accomodate, AC Transit still only provides one bus for them, and getting home can take almost two hours for some students.
