33 Colombia - Salahonda

Salahonda, in Nariño department, is an historically Afro-Colombian community at the edge of mangrove swamps. The 1991 Constitution and Law 70 guarantees them the land on which they have historically lived, but community members fear the same displacement by civil war that has affected other Afro Colombian communities.
