81 Basra and Um Qasr
Yusef Abdul Samat, Murat Nasser, and Luay Abdul Hussein, engineers in the control room of the Zubair port, were thrown out of their jobs by the Maersk shipping company when it took over the port at the beginning of the occupation. Once Maersk was expelled, the men got their jobs back. But according to the three engineers, in an act of vengeance, Maersk officials took irreplaceable equipment, like the switches in the control panel, with them when they left.
