Faleh Abood Umara, general secretary of the General Union of Oil Employees
of Iraq, speaks at the headquarters of the International Longshore and
Warehouse Union in San Francisco. He asked US union leaders to call for
an end to the occupation, and to oppose the privatization of Iraq’s
oil industry.
