18 A Colonia near Kerman, CA
The shelf outside the house for putting work shoes so that it stays cleaner indoors, at the home of the Lopez family, Mixtec immigrants from San Juan Mixtepec, Oaxaca. They are farm workers, and live in a tiny house on a ranch in the vineyards. They work picking raisins and other crops around Fresno.
