01 The Guelagetza
Dancers perform dances of the Mixtec, Zapotec and other indigenous groups of Oaxaca, Mexico, in the Guelagetza, the annual festival of Oaxacan culture. Oaxacan communities in the United States also organize the Guelagetza, and these performers are dancing in the Tower Theater in Fresno, a center of the Mixtec community in California's San Joaquin Valley.
