Cananea Copper Mine

In the Cananea copper mine, the largest in Mexico, the company closed down the clinic run by the workers for their families in 1999. The union at the mine, owned by Grupo Mexico, went on strike to demand that the clinic be reopened. A long-dead pigeon on the floor of the hallway in the clinic.
